Blogging To The Bank 2.00

Another valuable resource for both complete beginners and advanced bloggers alike is Blogging To The Bank 2.0 by Rob Benwell.

The thing which most appeals to me about blogging is the fact it is quick.

You don’t have to spend hours writing, and the language in blogs tends to be natural, informal and friendly. Many posts are only 200 - 300 words in total, which for the beginner may seem a lot, but as they are usually written in very conversational tones it’s actually easy to achieve.

Just think about holding a normal conversation with someone and count the words you use in actual speech.   For many, it’s not a question of not having enough to write, but rather having too much.

There are two different types of entries you can make.  These are posts and pages.  The difference between the two is that a page is a permanent fixture, like an About, or Contact page, whilst a post is a short article or piece of information which is automatically archived by date. The most recent post will be displayed and the others stored in reverse chronological order.
