Butterfly Reports - Winging Their Way To An In-Box Near You
Posted by Jean Shaw under Blogging Resources , Reviews
Just lately my in-box has been inundated with e-mails about Butterfly reports.I’ve resisted opening them because I knew it would end up with me either downloading something else I didn’t really have time to read, or worse still, buying yet another programme, or piece of software I had no idea how to use.
I’ve done that a lot in the past, but recently had a birthday and decided the newer, (older and wiser) me,would be more sensible. I’d only buy things I absolutely needed at the time, and would only open e-mails if I’d already done everything else I needed to do.
Clearly my increasing age has also meant decreasing brain cells because my new strategy didn’t last very long. I’ve heard you often lose short memory as you get older. No what was I saying?
Oh yes, this morning I just couldn’t resist it any longer and had to check out this marvellous Butterfly Report thing everyone is sending e-mails about, and yes, you’ve guessed it. I signed up.
Despite all the promises I’d made to myself not to get anything else, I succumbed to the persuasive sales letter and demonstation videos. However, my gut feeling is it’s been a wise move. One of the biggest problems for site owners is providing great content for their readers, and the Butterfly Reports could really make this aspect if Internet Marketing a lot easier.
The Butterfly Reports, the brainchild of Mike Filsaime and Rod Beckwith, follows the same viral marketing idea set by Harvey Segal with his Super Tips, in as much as all the affiliate links are placed for you. It’s so easy and anything requiring few of the “techie” bits gets my vote of approval. Of course there’s bound to be a lot of technology involved really, but not for the likes of you and me - thank goodness!
The concept behind the system is that every month you get high quality, content rich, brandable reports, written by experts in their field. These provide FREE quality information, which you can either give away or sell. This is wonderful for list building as it’s often a struggle to find something valuable to offer to your readers.
When you join up either as a Free, Gold or Platinum Member, you are given an affiliate ID number and you use this to brand the reports. It’s a very easy process and there is a video on the site to show you how to do it. Basically though it’s just a question of adding your name, website address, unique ID number, and your Clickbank and Pay Dot Com user names. If you haven’t got these then you can get them from the sign up page.
It’s all very easy – did I already say that? Told you my brain cells were going!
Within the reports are links to various products, etc. and depending upon your membership level you receive either 25%, 75% or 100% commission when someone buys through your cloaked affiliate link. Yes, they even cloak your links for you.
It’s a great idea because it’s so simple. Even an absolute beginner could do it, and you don’t even have to have a website to be part of the system. How cool is that?
Another great thing about it being in the Butterfly Reports system is that if you have your own report you want to submit, then that could be circulated amongst all the affiliates. Imagine your very own link being spread all over the internet and generating traffic for FREE.
That really is Viral marketing and I recommend you check out Butterfly Reports as soon as possible, especially whilst it’s FREE membership.
I’m just off to write a report to submit, but before I do I’ll be writing to Mike and Rod to point out a little something which they clearly haven’t noticed in their promotional tools.
You spell Affiliate like this, not Affilaite. Maybe they’ve just had birthdays too!
